Explore the delicate beauty of watercolors in this beginner's class. You will learn the fundamental elements essential for strong drawing and painting, along with color harmonies, light and shading, as you create paintings through exploration of still life sets and your own original ideas. Demonstrations and critiques will be provided by the instructor in a supportive and constructive environment. Whether you’re on a weekend outing or painting in your home, you will easily be able to incorporate these skills.  A $5 material fee is payable to the instructor in class. Kathy Metz is a gifted artist, a graduate of the Hollywood Art Center, and recipient of the prestigious “Society of Arts & Letters” award for painting. Please bring to class the following materials.
