Embark on a unique adventure to examine the San Andreas Fault with a professor of geography. There are many myths and legends about the San Andrease Fault and on this exclusive tour your geographer-guide will separate fact from fiction as you follow the fault through the San Bernardino Mountains on a fascinating driving tour. Several stops will be made along the way as your geographer-guide explains how scientists study the fault to help predict earthquakes and discusses what's really possible when we talk about "The Big One." Your geologist-guide will present so much about fault activity, local geography and geology that you'll never look at mountains, rocks and cracks in the cement the same way! A truly unique and educational experience! Enjoy an included boxed lunch picnic in a serene lake setting. Suggested: walking shoes.
